Behind The Lens

Location

Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue is an on-island suburb located at the western tip of the Island of Montreal in southwestern Quebec, Canada. It is the second oldest community in Montreal's West Island, having been founded as a parish in 1703.

Time

It was a beautiful Sunday morning, 5 a.m. I never had experienced a more peaceful moment on the river. Just right before the first sun rays expected to appear and take away all mysteries of the fog.

Lighting

My camera was on auto adjustments landscape and lenses automatically adjusted to 35mm. My breath on hold when it produces its cute sound and the flash went off. I usually have my camera on the adjusting of 3 seconds before the shot. The memory made.

Equipment

A had my shot with Cyber-shot Sony DSC-H5 7.2 Megapixels, 12 times optical zoom. The camera has Super Steady Shot and high sensitivity. Japan made reliable my super equipment.

Inspiration

The place itself is a very popular tourist destination accessible by water and railways road and the ground. The point is it never been empty. There are yats, motorboats of all sizes, sailboats, just name it. At the end of the Augusts, many fishermen are around. The fishing roads are everywhere from piers to boats, to every single island, which You can see in the pic. The Ottawa river brings a lot of folks from neighbor Ontario. It is the road to many daily cruisers which calls the 1000 Islands boat trip. 5 a.m. and no one -impossible. You can see a slightly not perfect surface of the water, might be a fish gently swimming under. I was overwhelmed by tranquility and snap a pic as the prove to a friend.

Editing

I preserved the natural beauty, even the fog is there. It is the unique moment before the Dawn.

In my camera bag

I have to say it is a tribute to my father, who is always saying at least take Your camera. I have a wonderful crossbody camera bag, with extra cushions. Extra universal energy supplement. A few USB connections - never know. The juice is written on it and a couple 64MB memory cards( time to time it is video as well). I am not Wi-FI and hotspot person.
