Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken as I was heading home on one of my neighborhood streets. I pulled over and jumped out of the car to take the photograph before the sun disappeared. Seconds to spare at this time of day.

Time

This photograph was taken on December 14, 2020 at 4:40pm. Headed home from work this street is adjacent to mine and affords a very scenic route due to the ocean and sunset views that are common in the Fall and Winter. Always looking for good capture opportunities. Camera always at the ready.

Lighting

I am a self taught amateur and most of my captures are from my iPhone. I really do want to move on to better equipment. I have two other cameras but have yet to learn their capabilities.

This was shot on my iPhone 7.

Inspiration

I adore Sunsets, am always aware of the time of day hoping to capture amazing shots. You will see that much of my portfolio are sunsets.
