Behind The Lens

Location

This picture features one of my best friends’. We met up after a long time in the Lake District, having not seen each other during lockdown.

Time

Picture was taken mid afternoon, 15:00. We were waking up to the beach.

Lighting

It was a spontaneous shot, I am still expecting with my camera, as I am a novice and self taught within the art of photography. I felt the shot felt right, colours were blending nicely, the light was low enough but not gone.

Equipment

This capture was sot on Nikon D3500/ Aperture f/5.6/ IOS 800

Inspiration

I’m always looking to capture a natural and genuine shot when it comes to portrait photography. I felt the time, scenery and my friend were perfect!

Editing

Yes, I have corrected the balance, contrast, luminosity and vibrance since the original photo had been taken in a low light.

In my camera bag

Every time I’m out for a walk or away I will pack my D3500 + AF-P 18-55 VR .
