Location

Took it on a walk in the country outside Frankfort, In.

Time

The walk was around 4:30 pm. The sun was at a good level for shadow.

Lighting

The lighting was causing good shadow situations. Use it in this image with a overhang above it. The wheel had good personality and character.

Equipment

I was using a Nikon D3100, and the lens was 55-200 mm telescope. with a UV filter.

Inspiration

The walk i was on let me use my creativity. I saw the image in my head. Saw the lighting and shadows in the area. The biggest part why I took the image was the wheel was in the ground. Also the wooden wheel had class, character, and personality.

Editing

Through using 3rds in taking the image made it easy in post editing. Used the exposure on photoshop. Also slight change in shadow, and highlights.

In my camera bag

The body of a Nikon d3100 came with a 55mm lens. Since then added telescope 200mm, 300mm, and 420mm to 800mm. Wide angle and micro lens brings different adventures to use on my Nikon. 3 different UV filters to bring clarity to all my images. Used one on the wooden wheel. I have a tripod with me just in case.
