These ruins stand today and are the result of an explosion from May 2, 1878 at the historic Pillsbury Flour Mill, which was once the largest flour mill in the world. The explosion took place in Minneapolis next to St Anthony Falls on the Mississippi River. The explosion was a huge fireball that sent objects and debris hundreds of feet into the air.
