These ruins are from the Pillsbury Flour Mill and are the result of a huge explosion in a fire ball that occurred as a result of flour mill dust in 1878. The explosion twisted iron and threw bricks and debris hundreds of feet into the air and stands as seen today. This occurred next to the Mississippi River in the old Flour Mill District next to Saint Anthony Falls.
