Location

I captured this photo on a trip recently.

Time

It was taken in the early morning just after sunrise. It had rained overnight, and the dew was very heavy.

Lighting

The light was all natural.

Equipment

I was using a Canon Rebel T5 with a 75-300 mm zoom hand-held camera.

Inspiration

I was out walking along the Mississippi river to see what I could see and just came across this. There was another bird with it that was either fighting or in a mating ritual with. Water and feathers were flying everywhere evidenced by other photos I got. It was intense and happened very fast..

Editing

I only cropped the photo.

In my camera bag

This was a few years ago, since then, the camera has been upgraded. Normally 3 lenses. 18-55mm, 100mm macro, 75-300mm zoom, a lens ball, filters, tripod and a double camera shouldered strap carrier.

Feedback

Sometimes things present themselves very quickly which is why I carry 2 cameras with different set ups.
