These young lions had escaped form a neighboring reserve and I had been driving around trying to locate them so they could be relocated before our gue

He was a regular around our house while living in the African Bush.

Giraffe are always very curious when they see something and gather together. They most times will walk closer to get a better view.

always curious, sometime to the point if you were stationary long enough they would approach and check you out.....

Maddie is the wisest, brightest, gentle soul ever.....plus at 2 yrs so clever.

Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in my bedroom at home. I am a self taught photographer, with still a long way to go. I am passionate about wildlife and especially my domestic cats.

Time

I think it was around lunch time and I was looking for photographic subjects while experimenting with my then mobile phone, and if I'm not mistaken soon after we moved into our present house.

Lighting

Only the light coming in from the window..............

Equipment

I used only my old Huawei ALE-L21

Inspiration

I took this photo because they looked so precious together and I'm always taking photo's of my cats plus Miki the ginger seems to make sure that he is next to, on top of, or making he's presence known to Miro at any time of day.

Editing

I have changed the exposure slightly just to see what can be done with the limited set up I have on Windows.

In my camera bag

I now have a Pentax K100 D with a 75-300mm lense, and love using my Samsung mobile phone for those quick shots when I don't have my camera.
