Behind The Lens

Location

This photograph was taken in Cazorla, a small town in Jaén, Andalucía, Spain. Through this town the cazorla river flows. This area of Jaén is one of the most beautiful areas, especially for landscape and animal photography.

Time

This photograph is taken around 12 pm. The path, and the trees, along the river block out light of the sun, this makes any time is good to take pictures there.

Lighting

The light only enters through the background of the small bridge, it was very easy to control the light with a 3 stop gradient filter

Equipment

Usually I use a sony Alpha 7 mark 3, un sony 16-35 mm f/4, Benro tripod and, right now, a Kase filter kit.

Inspiration

The composition with the flow of the river and the bridge was very attractive, and the sunlight that appears from the background makes the photograph have a charm.

Editing

255/5000 It has a very simple post-processing, a simple development of raw with Adobe camera raw, later, in photoshop, balance of light and shadow, some contrast in certain shadows, a little dodge and burn and a little glow with the lights of the background

In my camera bag

Normally I carry very little equipment, in my bag I carry the camera and the 16-35 lens, the filter kit, the tripod. I will be acquiring a new lens paa, a 70-200 from sony and a 14-24 from sigma

Feedback

Just enjoy the walk along the cazorla river and have fun taking pictures in that landscape. Above all, that they are very respectful with nature, it is an environment full of life and it must be preserved.
