Had a blast shooting this phenomenal Dutch Warmblood horse, "Humberto V' yesterday morning!
Owned and loved dearly by a friend of mine who had asked me to come do a photoshoot of her equine partner that she's had for one year. She imported him from Holland.

Humberto V, for those interested in the background, was bred by Johan Verkuijlen in the Netherlands.
He is sired by a top stallion in Europe named "Chippendale" (who is by Lord Leatherdale, out of a Negro mare).. and Humberto V is out of a dam (mare) by Tolando (who's by Krack C) x Special D (who's sire is Métall). Now of course, all those names only mean something to those of us interested in "Dressage" horses, but I'll share it with the masses anyhow, in case you feel like wasting some time googling a pedigree. LOL!

We shot photos at 9 am, which frankly, was still too late for a black horse, as the warm Florida sun did cast some red into his hair coat. But alas, it was the only time available for the owner.
