Behind The Lens

Location

When I was leaving from The Phoenix Arizona Bus station

Time

It was around 5 pm

Lighting

The natural lighting in arizona is just beautiful

Equipment

I used a cell phone that i have connected to my Canon T7i

Inspiration

Well, I had just left from California to see a doctor and have it confirmed that the astrocyte brain tumor I have had since I was 12 had turned to cancer. I had been in such shock and just wanted to start a new me so I thought why not do that with a "Goodbye old me (the silhouette of myself represents ghe old me) and a hello New me" (the snow is to represent the new me) photo.

Editing

I had to add a little percentage of the cooler effects to really make the silhouette and snow stand out

In my camera bag

Camera, notebooks and pens, my lens's my memory cards, laptop, and my business cards

Feedback

Always do your practice photos on yourself of silhouette portraits because not only will you be able to get it exactly the way you want it but you will also have that satisfaction of being able to look at a self portrait that is worth something to you.
