I used to go to this park alot. It's where my kids played. It's where my dad used to take me as a kid. Deeper into the woods is where I married my first husband. And on the other side of the hill is the Moore Cemetery where my dad is buried. I took this photo on one of the days in 2013 when I couldn't even force myself to go any further to go visit my dad's grave... I had a problem with going there for years after he died. So I used to come here and just sit and take photos of it until I finally inched myself over there. This photo inspires me in alot of ways. One way being the fact that you can clearly see the way the earth around the blooms just looks dead but yet the blooms still grow each day and their bright pink pastel colors brings hope unto the darkness. This was shortly after one of Moore Oklahomas major tornadoes in May of 2013.Editing

You have to feel the photo in your heart and your soul before you capture it. Close your eyes.. see what u want to capture and count to 3. When you open your eyes you should immediately see what is inside your head and capture the photo. If it's still not right then the edits havent been done yet.
