It was our first night actually camping. We had spent the first five nights of our Colorado camping trip trapped at a friends place while the big floods of 2013 were happening all around us. When we finally did get out, we arrived at this location on the western slope just before dark. It had just finished raining there and everything was wet and cold. By the time everyone was in bed, the clouds were cleared off except around the mountain peaks and the full moon was beautiful.
I couldn't help myself - I had to crawl out of my tent and go do some shooting. I froze my tail off, but I think it was worth it!
