This is my oldest son at the highest point along Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. I was intrigued by the halo. I'm not sure if it's due to the thinner-drier air at over 12,000 ft elevation, but I've never seen it quite like that anywhere else. Maybe someone else knows more about it than I do.
