Shooting from Tower bridge towards the area known as "The Square Mile".
The "Walkie Talkie" stands squat to the left whilst "The Gherkin" can stil be made out to the right although I do feel its time as a recognisable force on the skyline are numbered before it is swallowed up to be lost among it's neighbourhood buildings.

I love your shot of the square mile, it's beautifully done! Very crisp and sharp, clear saturation of vibrant colours. P.S Did U use a tripod?

Thanks Stephen, it was actually taken whilst I was teaching a student on one of my workshops last month, yes tripod & remote trigger used, thanks for the positive comment, Steve

Location
Taken on Tower Bridge in London, UK.Time
The image was taken about 9.45pm - 10pmLighting
No Lighting used to capture this image just a question of not blowing any highlight areas given off by the buildings.Equipment
Sony A7 III, Tamron 28-75 f2.8 lens on a tripod, 2 second delayed shutter used as I'd forgotten the release trigger.Inspiration
The colours across the water as I was looking at them in real time were ok but quite harsh and contrasty but I knew that using a longer exposure would smooth & soften this, so I set up on manual focus to ensure a very crisp clear result & 25 seconds later this was the result.Editing
Hardly anything at all, the dynamic range in the Sony is incredible & since I've used this camera my processing of images is now seconds & normally only a tweak on my preference for a bit of contrast. In my camera bag
For nights in london Sony A7III which is now my go to camera for everything... Canon 5d MkII hardly use now because of the Sony...Canon 16-35mm f 2.8 wide angle...Tamron 28-75 f2.8 tripod & remote triggers ( if I remember them lol)...glovesFeedback
Tripod is must to start with, don't forget base plates for the camera to tripod, remote or cable triggers for shake free shutter press is also a great help or use the in camera delay. Once you have framed up your shot look at the scene you have in front of you, my method is to imagine it in print (I do sell my images so this makes sense) then choose your settings to achieve that vision in your mind. For me this in real time was very dark almost black water with bright vivid coloured lights fighting with the gloom & I didn't like that so by choosing a long shutter speed the water gets blurred out, smooth & the harsh lighting becomes a nice soothing colour on the water not even like real lights and takes on a quite calming effect.
