Capturing this photo was the highlight of my recent African photographic safari. After waiting for about a half hour for her to pop up out of the grass, I was extremely lucky to capture this image. This lioness was about 2 football fields away from me. I was lucky to zoom in with my pocket camera, keep her in my sights and click the shutter all the while keeping my camera from shaking with the movement of the jeep.
