Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in lake elsinore California, on top of the Ortega mountains overlooking big bear.

Time

We were shooting about 2 hours before sunset, it was a bit cloudy which added to the cloud texture.

Lighting

I lit the image with a single Godoy AD-200 strobe with an umbrella, and later removed the light and stand in photoshop.

Equipment

Canon 5D4, 70-200 sigma lens, AD-200 light.

Inspiration

This was a self assignment, I was just shooting to practice my craft, and of course add a few images to the portfolio.

Editing

Yes, light processing in Lightroom, and then removed the light stand in photoshop.

In my camera bag

Everything I mentioned, plus 24-70 sigma, 85mm canon, 50mm sigma.

Feedback

Just look for interesting locations, this spot is a couple miles from my house, I just never took the time to check it out.
