Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Washington state, while waiting to catch the ferry over to Vancouver, BC. Momma coon was scurrying along the shoreline wall with her two young ones. She stopped for a brief moment, to check if the coast was clear.

Time

The early hours of the morning, just before sunrise.

Lighting

This photo was taken with natural light, very early morning light.

Equipment

Nikon D5100, Lens Nikon AF-S 55-300mm

Inspiration

It was such a surprise to see this family of raccoons, they were so adorable who could resist taking a picture. As the momma coon peered under the fence she gave me the look, so I clicked.

Editing

Cropped, and sharpened image

In my camera bag

I usually pack my Nikon D5100 camera, 55-300mm lens,18-55mm lens, AF-S Micro 40mm, polarized lens covers, lens spacers for micro picture, lens cover sun protector clip on. Lens cleaning solution and cloth and an extra battery for the camera.
