This is a lovely photo, but doesn't meet challenge criteria of receiving a "Summer 2020" award from ViewBug and I removed it. Please check your Awards section and enter the photo that received the Summer 2020 award, Kashmir Diaries. Thank you, Kathy

Location
These images were taken near The Godavari Bridge or Kovvur–Rajahmundry Bridge spanning Godavari River in Rajahmundry, India.Time
This is my all time favorite pictures. In order to catch the sunrise we woke up at 4 am as it was a long drive to the place where I shot this image. We reached around 5 am and it was still dark. In the mean time I and my fellow photographer Gautham were planning what would be the best place to shoot sunrise.Lighting
I wanted this picture to create that drama where it shows the fisherman at work rowing the boat. After 2-3 different styles i have ended up thinking silhouette would be good and clicked it underexposed.Equipment
This was shot with NikonD750 with Tokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 AF PRO FX lens. No external flash or tripod was used.Inspiration
Being a traveller wanted to explore the less explored places in India. So, wanted to visit India's third longest road-cum-rail bridge which is very scenic as well. Once we reached there we also wanted to go for a boat trip during sunrise and the locals were kind enought to this fisherman to take us on a small tour. When we were talking to him regarding when did he start fishing and what time he starts everyday. He started telling us that he comes everyday in the morning at 3am and starts fishing. Then he started displaying his fishing skills to us which and we were like really impressed. When we reached the shore he told today he didnt catch any fish and we offered him 500 for taking us for a tour and he was so happy as it was festival called Sankranthi India. He told this is my daily earnings, now i can go spend the rest of the day with his family. Also in one of the pics you can see a little boy in a boat, I asked the fisherman what is the boy doing . He said kids come early in the morning to collect coins(money) from the water using a magnet at the end of the row. People in india throw coins in riverEditing
This was shot during sunrise and i have taken the pic little underexposed so that i can decrease the shadows and turn it into a silhouette. Apart from the shadows played with Split toning as the sky was very flat (white). In my camera bag
The first thing i would always carry in my bag is my Bazooka Nikon 200-500mm. Being a bird lover thats the first thing i would have in my bag. Shooting wide angle shots is something i love so Tokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 AF PRO FX would be in my bag.Feedback
Before capturing any picture. Just think what would you like to show the audience, what is the essence of the pic. How you would like to edit it later to achieve what you wanted. Many people have captured near this bridge, but mostly it was during sunset from the other side of the bridge. I thought why not visit during sunrise and show a different perspective.
