I took this shot driving 120km-h, holding my Canon 5D with one hand, and the wheel with another. That was 10 days driving, I couldn't stop every time I see such a beauty, as it is British Columbia, it's all about beauty! If you'd like to see the video of my 10 days trip from the North of BC to Florida, find me on Youtube (Yulia Starostina), or find by video name "From winter to summer"

Location
On a road between Prince George, BC, Canada to Jasper National Park, AB, Canada.Time
This photo was taken during our big trip, driving 6000 km from the North of British Columbia, Canada to Florida, Orlando, US. We crossed 3 Canadian Provinces and 6 American States. It took 60 hours of driving, during 9 days. And it would be more fun if it wasn't so cold on our way. In Alberta and Saskatchewan it was -40C, and was kind of worried if our car will start up in the morning. This exact photo was taken while driving. I won't recommend to do it, but it was so beautiful during all the ride through BC an AB, and you can't stop every kilometer if you have 6000km to drive. So, I just put my camera on passenger seat, and was shooting while driving. I wasn't looking in a viewfinder, just clicking the button, and was hoping that camera will focus, and the frame will be good enough. So, this is one of the shots that worked.Lighting
It's a natural light, so, all you need is do the right settings.Equipment
Canon 5D Mark III, lens 24-105mm. Hand held while driving.Inspiration
If you ever been in British Columbia or Alberta, you won't ask what inspired you. The inspiration is all around. Even if you stay at one place, mountains always different, every day. I can't describe with word how beautiful it is, the photos will talk more.Editing
I processed this photograph through the Light Room. Made colour more reach. I absolutely love working with green colours in Lr. It makes it so easy. You just need to understand which colours you want, which you don't, and you just working with each colour separately. After this I processed photo through Photoshop only for the road colour and added some sunrise. In my camera bag
I usually have Canon 5D MarkIII, 24-105 kit lens, 50 mm 1.4 lens, Canon flash (use only with portraits)Feedback
My advice, just always carry your camera with you. It's a bit heavy, but believe me, if you don't have it with you, you'll miss a lot of shots. Especially if you're travelling. Sometimes I so don't want to carry camera with me, but when I start shooting, I forget how heavy is it, I'm just glad I took it.
