I took this photo in my tiny studio at basement in my home.Time
it was afternoon, but it really doesn't matter, as I don't have natural light in my studio.Lighting
I decided to use very simple light to create dramatic effect and shadows, so I use strobe with snoot with grid.Equipment
In my studio I use Nikon D810, no tripod. Portraits, I always shoot holding camera on hands.Inspiration
when take portraits of any person, I'm always need to know this person little bit better through conversation. Also, I'm always ask my models if they have their own vision of themselves.., I ask how they want me present them via my lenses .. and than, I see what can be done to combine their vision and mineEditing
I use Photoshop only as needed, nothing major .. slide exposure.. and clean skin if necessaryIn my camera bag
I have 2 DSLR Nikon D750 with Nikkor 24-70 and nikon D5300 with 18-200. Also, I have speed light Nikon 910, spare batteriesFeedback
I have small Place, so most of my models sitting on the floor. I prefer one simple light (strobe with umbrella or snoot) on right side, but don;t mind to use a soft box as well .
