I was shooting landscape horizons in the park when something in the shadows caught my eye.
This image is an accident which turned out well IMHO.
Normally I would choose a wide open lens rather than f/16 for such a shallow depth photo. From the log in front to to the black dirt in the back, this image sees only 18"-24"
A 2 second exposure only worked because the camera was mounted on a tripod. I would never suggest these settings for such an image, but I like how this turned out using the aperture settings from the previous landscape photo..
