Location
I took this photo in Vietnam in Hon Gai, Huang Ninh at a market, where you can buy fish, flowers, fruit, vegetables etc.Time
It was late in the morning. But I took the photo inside the market hall, not the best conditions.Lighting
I chose a pretty high ISO. 2500, something I usually avoid. But it allowed for a f14 and a short exposure.Equipment
Nikon D5, no tripod, no flash.Inspiration
I liked the texture of the fish and the way they were decorated in the little basket. Their eyes fascinated me.Editing
Not very much. I cropped it a little and increased the contrast. In my camera bag
It depends very much on where I am going and what I plan to do. For trips to Africa and wildlife I love my 600 mm lens, which is pretty heavy. together with a Nikon D5. Recently I bought a Leica Q2 Mono, which is small, and I take it everywhere. For dragon flies and other insects I take along a Nikon macro lens.Feedback
It is easy to take photos of things that are fascinating. Here I liked the composition, the way the fish were decorated. The fish looked like silver. Very beautiful.
