Location
I took this photo at the Fort Worth Alliance air show. It was an incredible moment when I saw how the sonic clouds developed around the jet as it reached sonic speed. I've never seen this ever before and I was so happy that I was able to capture this special moment.Time
I started early in the morning to get a good place to take my pictures at the air show. It rained and I was hoping that it would clear up that it was possible for the planes to start the show. On-time, 10 am the rain stopped and the sun came out and it was a perfect day to take pictures. The jets did their show around noon and they were not supposed to reach sonic speed, but this one did and I felt very lucky to catch that moment with my camera.Lighting
The sun did a great job that day with perfect lighting.Equipment
I used my Canon Eos 5D MarkIV with a 400mm lens and a tripod.Inspiration
I love everything that comes with speed and technology, no matter if its cars, motorbikes or planes. So its a must to go to air shows for me and watch the acrobatic skills of the pilots and their jets and planes.Editing
Usually, I process all my pictures first in LR to adjust brightness, contrast, and temperature and the final edit is done in PS to remove eventual blemishes. In my camera bag
In my bag, you'll find my Canon EOS 5D, a 50mm lens, a 70-200mm lens, a 24-105mm lens, a tripod, filters, and cleaning equipmentFeedback
Just keep on focussing and pushing the shutter in a fast speed mode that you'll not miss a special moment like this.
