Congratulation on your award! This is a beautiful photo! Great idea -flat stone for a tripod allowing for this long exposure. "You worked it !"

Location
The photo was taken on the shore of the Black Sea, during a walk, after a storm.Time
I started taking pictures in the late afternoon, when the weather calmed down, it was about 6:00 pm, September 10, 2018Lighting
Such black-and-white images are favorite for me, and thanks to the clouds that overshadowed the sky, there is not much lighting, but ideally for such a photo (in my opinion).Equipment
Ideally, I would use a tripod, but that day I didn’t take it with me, and I had to proceed from the situation, usually I use what I have at hand, in this case I found a fairly flat stone to use it instead of a tripod. I also used a neutral filter(ND 500). Photo taken on camera nikon D810 + 24-70mm.Inspiration
I have always been inspired by the sea, and I was lucky to live near the sea. But not every day I find the plot, insanely inspire the storm and black and white photography with a long exposure.Editing
Yes, processing is present, within reason, for the most part I try to achieve the desired results when shooting, in this picture there is a translation into BW, and a bit of contrast and a small vignette to make it dramatic, and underline the center of exposure. In my camera bag
Almost always with me there are two lenses 24-70 mm and 105 mm, and my favorite camera is Nikon 810 + neutral filter and polarization.Feedback
I use a neutral filter 500, but I like to do it often with the sky tightened, but if you shoot in good light and achieve water blur, I would advise you to have several filters, 500 and 1000 densities. (Or various others) To implement creativity and ideas under different lighting conditions. I usually use the shutter speed for 20-30 seconds at a apperture of 11-22, depending on the light, Iso 100-400. If for some reason, you forget the tripod, or simply do not have it, or it is not convenient to take for walks, and the plot was suddenly interesting, do not despair, look for everything that can support your camera (stones, benches, chairs, tables - no matter, any stable support) of a second chance to return and take a picture under these conditions is hardly possible (as practice shows). And remember, it's better to take a picture and have a result and experience, than to leave and get upset at home, that you came with nothing :)
