Location
This shot is taken in the Greek island called andros. The lighthouse called tourlitis stands at the shore near the beach and it's all it remained after earthquakes in the island. Now it's only a touristic sightseen.Time
It is taken at the blue hour. It was a little bit before everything get dark .Lighting
This shot is taken only with natural light. It's a long exposure shot of 30 seconds.Equipment
I used my Nikon d810 equipped with the Nikon mid tele 70 -200 f 2.8g vr ii. Stabilized at a manfrotto tripod with a benro ballhead. Also I used a remote control in order to maximize the stabilization of the shot.Inspiration
I like very much shots taken at the blue hour. Colors, mood of that hour, I find them fantastic. Before I get the shot I have imagined in my mind the final result and I tried to capture it. Photography is the way every person sees through its eyes I suppose and this is my imagination .Editing
Yes . I have post processed this shot . It's a blend of 4 shots in order to manage the dynamic range of the whole scene. From the darkest shadows to the brighter highlights. Burn and dodge at some points. Color corrections and some other small tricks. In my camera bag
I always have my favorite Nikon 24 - 70 f 2.8g and my Nikon 14- 24 f 2.8g filters, my remote control.Feedback
Be patient and be at the right spot the right hour. Imagine your shot and try to make it. Give your audience the way you look through your eyes and your mind . Thank you very much .
