It was amidst our road trip in Macedonia. Ohrid--one of the few places in the world where civilization never stopped-- was home town of my friend and travel companion. It was my chance to immerse into the ancient most lake of Europe, which we celebrated diving from a 13m cliff by the lake. One of the close to heart memories !

Location
The photo was taken in Ohrid, Macedonia. I am a travel and landscape photographer. I aim to capture the essence of landscape and life in different corners of the world.Time
It was a summer evening. I was exploring the beauty of this massive lake, pained beautifully with the colors of the 'Golden Hour'.Lighting
Breaking lights always bring the magic. The late golden hour, just before the sunset, brings an amazing aura of colors with the reflection on the water.Equipment
A camera (canon 70D), 18-135mm/f3.5 lens.Inspiration
Lake Ohrid is the ancient most lake in Europe. The town of Ohrid has been the silent keeper of the historical accounts of an uninterrupted civilization. The lake carries that feeling of eternity, celebrating life each day. A jump on lake Ohrid on a hot summer day is part of the life of generations.Editing
I developed the photo from raw. Adjusted color, contrast, light, and saturation. In my camera bag
A camera, 18-13mm/f3.5, 85mm/f1.8, tripod, neutral density filter.Feedback
One should prepare him/herself considering the place to shoot (a prior idea is better) and reach early, weather (follow closely the forecast) and definitely the equipment. Have a cup of coffee and spend a lot of time there playing with the exposure time to capture the moment.
