UK: The Kerid is a crater lake in Iceland. It is the easternmost of five craters in the Tjarnarhólar crater range, which belongs to the post-glacial Grímsnes volcanic field and which in turn belong to the eruption belt in the Reykjanes – Langjökull area. Kerid is located in the Sudurland region.

GER: Der Kerid ist ein Kratersee in Island. Er ist der östlichste von fünf Kratern der zum postglazialen Grímsnes-Vulkanfeld gehörenden Kraterreihe Tjarnarhólar, die ihrerseits zum Eruptionsgürtel im Reykjanes–Langjökull–Gebiet zählen. Kerid liegt in der Region Sudurland.
