Location
I took this shot on the top of Mirador Condor in Torres del Paine National Park, Chile.Time
It was a very cold morning (as you can see), went up to spot some bird (Mirador Condor is a good name) but snow/ice, wind and fog didn't let me spot anyting, I couldn't neighter see the Three Towers that were just in front of me... It was a nice hike anyway, long and cold but nice!Lighting
No particular lights for this picture, I saw the vegetation so frozen that also the strong wind had difficulty in move them, so without animals and the restricted panorama of the clouds covering the valley I decided to take some shot of the icy vegetation.Equipment
Canon 6d and Tamron 70-200, hand shot.Inspiration
Only the idea to bring home the memory of that cold situation with some macro, there was only that to do up there!Editing
The normal post processing of a raw to a jpg, a bit of color correction (to a colder temperature) and contrast, nothing else.In my camera bag
At now in my bag there is a Sony a7r3 with Samyang 14mm for the night shots, Tamron 17-28 and 28-75 for the normal shots and when it is needed a Sigma 100-400, normally used for shooting at the moon. I use Rollei Alpha tripods and FStop Gear Tilopa backpacks, Rollei filters and Accessories and Peak Design belts.Feedback
