Behind The Lens

Location

This is an image I took during my visit to Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Autumn in Ontario is breathtaking with all its warm colours.

Time

I went for a evening walk on the floating boardwalk out side of Science North. This board walk looks over Ramsey Lake. I couldn't stop taking photos of the natural beauty, covered in the evening golden sun.

Lighting

The only lighting in this picture is natural light. This photo was taken during natures best gift before the darkness. This was captured just before the October 2017 sunset starting just after 18:00. The Golden hours are my favourite times of day. All my troubles seem so far away

Equipment

It's about the equipment you don't use that makes the shot I was always taught. This image along with most if my others were shot with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

Inspiration

Nature is the most inspiring thing earth has to offer.

Editing

With this photo I slightly adjusted the contrast, brightness and hue to allow more depth within the landscape.

In my camera bag

I normally do not carry a camera bag. When I go out shooting, I bring water, sunglasses and my hat. Life is an adventure worth capturing.

Feedback

Try to get back to your basic and simplistic love of photography. I find the best photos of nature are not planned but felt. There's beauty in every darkness.
