One evening returning home after a long busy day in Sydney to be met by this big softie

Lighting

Shot in natural light anf a vingette added using PS. Virtually no other post processing.

Equipment

Olympus OMD standard f3.5/5.6 Olympus 14-50 mm lens. Hand held.

Inspiration

I told both my son and daughter if they ever got a dog it should be a bordet collie and female. Same weekend but separately they both got theur dogs. My son typically had to be different and got a dog. Then called him Simba..why...I really don't know.

Editing

Only darkened the outer edges to bring his face out. No layers or enhancing of colours brightness or levels.

In my camera bag

OMD 10 mk 2. Std lens plus12-50 and 14-150 Olympus kit lenses. Spare battery space nemory card and a mini tripod (- approx 15cmc extended). and of course $20 just in case!

Feedback

Keep your camera on you. Keep it light and keep youeself aware of what is all around you. Dont be afraid to stop in your tracks to capture what you see...you'll find your own area and style by trying new things. Look and learn.
