Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken outside of Globe Life field in Arling ton, Tx

Time

It was mid-morning and overcast.

Lighting

I had the ISO at 100 to try and allow more light because of how gray the day was

Equipment

I was using a Sony with an F 18- 55 lens and no flash.

Inspiration

The majestic stillness of the egret waiting for its lunch and the still flash of white against the gray.

Editing

I use Adobe Photoshop to lighten some shadows.

In my camera bag

I normally have just the camera I'm using and a telephoto lens and a landscape lens.

Feedback

My advice to others for this type of capture is to be ready to shot from the hip and be patient. And always take a deep steadying breath before take you the shot.
