Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in my house on the day that the little kitten Isabella became a member of our family.

Time

The photo was taken in the late afternoon when the sun rays were mysteriously sneaking into the room.

Lighting

I used the natural light that came through the window in the room.

Equipment

I took this picture with my beloved Nikon 3200.

Inspiration

Isabella was a small, sweet and very embarrassed animal. I liked it at first sight and wanted to seal the moment of arrival and home.

Editing

I did a post processing of the photo, exacerbating the look and the muzzle change slightly the background color and darkened the picture in some places.

In my camera bag

My Nikon 3200 is everywhere with me!

Feedback

One of the main goals of photography, without any doubt, is to be the guardian of the memory. But the picture is not only a testimony to something that has been and is no longer there. It is an archive that should not just store, but also construct a narrative whose memory and imagination interact.
