Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in a hotel room during a nude photo shoot with the model, most likely this particular shot was photographed in the bathroom.

Time

It was in the afternoon probably but it's an indoor shot so it doesn't really matter.

Lighting

I used a speedlight to light up the model and it's bouncing off the mirror that's on the left side outside of the frame.

Equipment

I usually use my Canon 5d mark3 and sometimes my Canon 80D. I also use speedlights when I'm shooting both indoors and outdoors and use the 24-105mm f4 L lens for portraits as well as sometimes the 40mm f2.8 pancake lens.

Inspiration

I wanted to take some photos in the bathroom and use the room mostly to bounce the light from the speedlights, I also wanted to use the mirror for that as well. The mode shot me a very "inviting" look so I zoomed in on her face and took this shot.

Editing

I usually do minimum processing, only some cropping and changing the brightness and contrast of the colors and shot.

Feedback

It depends on your lighting, you have to make it interesting and also you need to have a "fun" model that's open to trying different poses and facial expressions.
