This photo of the CN Tower was taken in downtown Toronto, Ontario. I am always intrigued with the architecture of this building because although it looks like there would not be much to do, there is the EdgeWalk, Glass Floor, 360 Restaurant and so much more not to mention the view is amazing!Time
I took this photo around 2 p.m. I just loved the flowing white clouds against the blue sky.Lighting
No flash was required on this photograph as on this particular day it was a beautiful warm sunny day and the natural lighting was perfect!Equipment
I used my Canon camera which was hand held. I do not believe you do not need to have an expensive camera to capture a beautiful photograph. I feel strongly that cameras do not take the photograph but photographers do.Inspiration
I love the architecture and I like looking up at the CN Tower to see if I can see any of the Edgewalkers. Edgewalkers are people who walk around the CN Tower which is the world’s highest full circle hands-free walk on a 5 ft (1.5 m) wide ledge encircling the top of the CN Tower’s main pod, 356m/1168ft (116 storeys) above the ground. I wouldn't do it but I love watch all the brave people who do.Editing
The only minor post-processing I did on this photograph was to cropped it a bit and then I used Photomatix to make the photograph a bit more vibrant! Otherwise what you see is what came straight out of my camera. In my camera bag
In my camera bag I carry my Canon camera, extra batteries, various filters, lens filter cleaner and extra memory cards.Feedback
I strongly believe that every photograph tells a story, so make your photograph tell a story. Photography changes the way you see things. You notice colours, textures, people, nature … everything around you looks different when you start to see the world through a lens. Have fun and enjoy doing what you love doing, which is taking photographs. Don’t follow your dreams … chase them!
