Communication towers transmit vast amounts of human information, of various purposes and importance, across a stormy sky

The towers are located on top of TV Tower Peak (Suappoa Peak ) in the South Mountains of Phoenix, Arizona.
The height of the mountain, plus the height of the towers, puts the broadcast signal nearly 2,500 feet above the desert floor.
The strongest of radio signals, at 100,000 watts, reaches Tucson, Az, 90 miles away

To get this photo, I set the tripod on the passenger seat of the car and, shot through the car window to keep the camera from getting wet.
...Preventing the camera from getting damaged was one concern, also, standing out in the rain, on top of a mountain, with an aluminum tripod, didn't seem like a particularly wise idea.
