This Florida Scrub Jay was one of a family of 5 that came to check us out while we were actually looking for them to photograph. Photo taken at Oscar Schere State Park near Sarasota, Fl. Scrub Jays only live in Central Florida and are highly endangered. I was surprised to note that this bird was not banded as they are highly tracked for conservation reasons. Please see my other photos of this truely magnificent bird in my gallery.
