An image of Peggy’s Cove located in Nova Scotia, Canada
I left 3 individuals in the photograph, after removing some that were distracting to the viewers eye. I used a Canon 5D Mark 3 and a Canon ef 70-200mm lens and an ND filter to keep the highlights down and create some movement of the 3 spectators.

Location
During a stroll on the shores of Nova Scotia, Peggie’s Cove to be exact, I managed to notice this magnificent light on the lighthouse. I didn’t think twice and aimed my camera and created the shot. It was taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III, and a Canon 24-70mm lens at 35mm. I managed to clone out some tourist in the area and left some for perspective view.Time
The time was Earle hours of the morning.Lighting
Personally, I find the best light for capturing images like this, during the morning and evening hours.Equipment
Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 24-70mm, Vanguard Tripod with an Acratech Ball head, and a Polarizer filter.Inspiration
This image is an icon of Nova Scotia and is a favorite for many.Editing
Post processing was done in Lightroom and Photoshop CC.In my camera bag
In my bag, I carry 1 Canon EOS 5D Mark III, Canon EF 24-70mm f/4.0, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 and a Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8, Various filters including Lee ND filters which I find the best for the money. I also have a Shinobi 5” monitor for getting the details right, and other small things like cleaning cloth, brush etc.Feedback
For getting sharp images, please use a tripod and if possible, lock your mirror if you don’t have a mirror less SLR. Go out early before the crowd arrive or later in the day after they leave. Enjoy .
