Behind The Lens

Location

“Let Sleeping Dogs”, was taken at my local farm shop, he’s that used to people coming and going he seldom takes any notice of who there.

Time

The image was take late in the afternoon, at a time when most dogs love a nap.

Lighting

As with most outdoor portraits, I prefer my lighting to be soft, flat and even.

Equipment

This was shot using a Nikon D7000, with 70-200mm f/2.8.

Inspiration

Dogs are so cute, who would want to take their picture.

Editing

This image was shot in colour and then converted to monochrome, no other post-processing was applied.

In my camera bag

In my bag these days there is normally a pair of Nikon Df’s along with three primes lenses. A 20mm, 50mm and a 105mm
