Location
This photo was taken at the Portland Japanese Garden.Time
This photo was taken in the morning sometime before noon.Lighting
The sun was moving across the tree and I decided to adjust my camera settings to get a good flare of the sun and I think it worked in this situation.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon 6D with Canon 16-35 F4 lens.Inspiration
I had seen this tree in other photographs and I was surprised to know it wasn't far from where I lived. I was disappointed when I found out that the gardens were going to be closed for the season for renovations. I had to wait a year and a half for the opportunity to get this shot.Editing
I do some adjustments in lightroom. In my camera bag
I have in my bag a Canon 6D, Canon 16-35 F4, Canon 70-200F2.8 II, Tamron 150-600mm, and some miscellaneous items.Feedback
Just get out there and shoot. Take a couple shots you normally wouldn't take. Sometimes those turn out to be the most interesting.
