Behind The Lens

Location

the picture was taken while taking my daily walk on the Kibbutz where I live, I'v been to that location numerous time trying to get the exact time to take the picture.

Time

The picture was taken at around 7 pm at dusk, at the end of a very hot and muggy day

Lighting

to reach the the coloring effect I tilted the camera while kneeling and the camera facing upwards. because it was a hot and muggy day the dust in the air and tilting the camera affected the lighting.

Equipment

I used my favorite camera Camera: Canon PowerShot SX50 HS Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 250 Exposure: 1/200

Inspiration

I'm an amateur photographer and always looking for a different view of thing specifically colors, the color of the sky at that time was amazing, that combined with contemplative mood helped immensely.

Editing

I don't do any post-processing of my pictures. My wish is to convey things the way I see it. I'm not big on words, taking pictures and showing them is my way of expressing my feeling and my view.

In my camera bag

I usually carry two cameras Nikon D90 and the Canon PowerShot

Feedback

My advice for someone trying to capture a similar photo is to try to convey your feeling into the picture, tilt the camera till you get the colors (breaking the sun-rays), as oppose to capturing animals / wildlife scenery is kind of static take your time and try again and again till you reach your goal.
