Really nice photography, street photography is not so popular such as landscapes and/or studio photography, however is really difficult get simple and nice shots like this. Congratulations.

Easy or difficult, I don´t care..I´m trying to capture a feeling and a story, but you are right - thanks!

One of many strangers photographed yesterday - all of them nice and polite :-)

Went up to this old man from the street, and offered him cigarettes for a couple of photos.

Went back to the place, and luckily they still wandered along on the field 20km from where I live.

Location

Start of Spring ´16, I shot this in a northern city of Germany. Asked a begging Romani on the street to pose in front of a giant poster advertising a man in his best age with the right look, handsome and showing character. ..

Time

Was shot an early evening.

Lighting

Only use natural light - reflections from buildings.

Equipment

Handheld street portrait. Natural light. Nikon D750. Guess it´s the 24-70 Tamron.

Inspiration

Was just "hunting", and saw the contrast in society with this poster.

Editing

In my camera bag

Back then, it was my D750 and often the Tamron 24-70mm when doing street. The set-up for nature is heavier.

Feedback

Take Your time. Walk the same path more than once. Have money or cigarettes ready for payment. Always be polite and have good running shoes, if things go wrong.
