Behind The Lens
Location
In Neosho Falls, KS at a tiny park across from the gorgeous vast Neosho River.Time
I absolutely love this image! This was taken in the afternoon at a time that harsh sunlight would of been damaging to most photos.Lighting
This umbrella saved this shot from being tossed...we were hanging out in Neosho Falls, KS with family and as always I had my camera with me. I began taking photos of the family and found that the harsh sunlight would of been damaging to every shot due to the shots I was trying to capture. This golf umbrella happened to be with us in the car.Equipment
I use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 with no special lenses attached nor filters. I took advantage of the Leica zoom lens already built in. No flash was used and this shot was taken in my hands while kneeling on the ground.Inspiration
Look at her. No inspiration was needed to take photos of this Kansas lil beauty.Editing
There was no post processing done to this photo besides the watermark. I shot it in BW.In my camera bag
I carry just my camera with its hood and a simple tripod. That's it. Light is best for me. I use no additional lenses or filters with this camera, for now.Feedback
Explore your camera. Know it well and I assure you that no matter the brand, megapixels, or scenario you will always be ready to make anything work to get that shot you are after.
