Very fun and creative, although I would hate to be the girl being the gun rest. She's gonna be hurting after that shot, lol.
Great lighting and edit, nicely done.

High noon….Lighting
I love using beauty dishes. Something about how they wrap light make my subject come to life. So we had a large beauty dish key light, a small beauty dish fill and and 2 strip banks placed at the back 45's.Equipment
Canon 5D Mark II, 24-70 l series, Alien Bee 800'sInspiration
Firearm images always fall into 2 categories. Either there is a big tough guy with the rifle or a bikini clad female with the rifle. I wanted to do a go between. Keeping the females classy, but still a sense of bad ass in them. I think this image works!Editing
Yes, I shoot the models on seamless paper, then composite them into a background. Lots of dodging and burning as well as selective sharpening. In my camera bag
I'm a studio photographer….so i rarely pick up and go. I enjoy being able to create every bit of light in a scene. If i had a doomsday bug out bag…….i think would carry my Canon 5D Mark ii, 24-70, 85mm, at least one AB800 and vagabond mini……and maybe something to kill zombies with. ha ha!Feedback
All we really do is composite photography. Its exciting to us. My advice to others is to pick your background first and match that light direction. Mis-matched LD will kill a composite. Trust me, I've screwed up plenty of them!
