Nice shot and I know this bear. What a great place back next year for my fourth time. Love it.

Location
This picture was taken at Lake Clark National Park near Silver Salmon Creek in Alaska.Time
It was around 10am but a very cloudy day.Lighting
It was a cloudy day with just a little light coming through. There was just enough light to bring out more of the details of the bear.Equipment
I had a Nikon d750 with a 150 to 600mm sigma lens and promaster tripod.Inspiration
The bear had been along the low tide shore line all morning digging for clams. He walked over and sat down for a minute then just lowered himself down and started snoozing. He looked so relaxed and was not at all intimidating and with that look on his face he didn't have a care in the world. just a peaceful and relaxing photo.Editing
About all that was done to the photo was lighten it a tad and bring out the shadow. In my camera bag
I usually carry a Nikon d750 and d850, the 150-600mm sigma lens, Nikon 24-120mm lens, Tamron 15-30 mm, Nikon 85mm lens, 14mm Rokinon and Tokina 100mm lens. 3 extra batteries, several packets of lens wipes, 1 small leatherman, 2 extra sd cards, bottle of water and a roll of wintergreen lifesavers in case I have to wait on a shot.Feedback
If your shooting wildlife : Have fun, be patient and focus on the eye. That motto will almost always get you a great shot.
