This stairwell was taken inside the Aga Khan Museum. I thought it was quite unique.

Location
This hexagonal spiral staircase was taken inside the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto.Time
I took this photograph around 10:00 a.m.Lighting
I did not need the use of a flash as the lighting that was used was natural lighting from above the staircase.Equipment
I used my Canon camera which was hand held. I do not believe you do not need to have an expensive camera to capture a beautiful photograph. I feel strongly that cameras do not take the photograph but photographers do.Inspiration
I was inspired to take this photograph because of the beautiful velvety blue walls along side the clean white lofted aluminum panels which were filled, finished and polished by hand to a final smooth finish. The blue and white sets off the unique hexagonal spiral staircase beautifully that it made you want to use it to explore what was above the staircase.Editing
The only minor post-processing I did on this photograph was to cropped it a bit and then I used Photomatix to make the photograph a bit more vibrant! Otherwise what you see is what came straight out of my camera. In my camera bag
In my camera bag I carry my Canon camera, extra batteries, various filters, lens filter cleaner and extra memory cards.Feedback
I strongly believe that every photograph tells a story, so make your photograph tell a story. Photography changes the way you see things. You notice colours, textures, people, nature … everything around you looks different when you start to see the world through a lens. Have fun and enjoy doing what you love doing, which is taking photographs. Don’t follow your dreams … chase them!
