Location
Photo was taken in my back yard in Austin, Texas on June 3, 2014.Time
It was taken at 3:56 PM on a summer afternoon.Lighting
The lighting was indirect, mt back yard was full of large Oak trees and very shaded at that time of day.Equipment
The camera was an IPhone 4 set. The camera was f2.8, ISO 100 with a shutter speed of 1/40 of a second. The shot was hand-held. The IOS was version 10.3.3.Inspiration
We had an extensive garden and the sunflower was large a near perfect flower. I was trying to capture the beautiful recursive pattern of spirals as the seeds were developing.Editing
The picture was cropped to a square frame size.In my camera bag
When I shot this photo, I had no other equipment than my iPhone.Feedback
I often shoot closeups with my iPhone, currently I use an iPhone XS Max. I also now use a Sandmarc Closeup Lens and a Sandmarc case with threaded inserts for correct lens alignment.
