My live-in muse poses for her official portrait, and she requires a great deal of patience and kind words to stay in position. In this case I already had my camera and lighting ready, woke her up gently, and got this pose before she knw what was happening., I use a low power on the strobe and a 200 ISO to lesson te annoyance to her sensitive eyes. Even so, she thought it was a rude awakening at 4:20 am. Color saturation is slightly boosted, the only significant retouch work was the removal of minor lint and cat hair from her plush blanket
