Behind The Lens

Location

I made this photo on a lake in Austria, near Graz. I know this lake, since i was a child.

Time

It was 04.30 in the morning.

Lighting

I got up early to chatch the first red macig light bevore sunset.

Equipment

I used a Nikon Fm3a with a Nikkor 105mm lense. I used a kodak portra 800 Asa, no Tripod.

Inspiration

I know this lake since i was a child. I was swiming there, when i was young. In the last years i got up early sometimes, because there is a macig light, one hour bevore the sun comes out. I made many double exposure photos, this one is my favorite.

Editing

I just worked a little bit on the brightness and contrast in photoshop, not more.

In my camera bag

I use a Nikon Fm3a and different Nikkor Lenses. I have a 105mm, 35mm, 50mm, 80-200mm zoom and a 55mm macro Lense.

Feedback

I advice other photographers to take time and wait for the best moment to catch the best natural light.
