Location
I took this photo in Strasbourg, such a lovely city full of old buildings with an added canal circling the center of the city! Truly a must visit destination.Time
It was around 4-4.30pm on a winters day so it was just after sunset, which gave it such a nice cold feeling and clear skies which helped create that wonderful reflection in the water,Lighting
I wanted this shot to show exactly what i saw, so i used ISO 800 and a wide aperture. I was aiming to get the right amount of light in to keep it realistic, but also keep the cold winter tones.Equipment
All i had was my trusty Nikon D3100 and the kit lens (18-55mm).Inspiration
To be honest it was a spur of the moment...moment? i was just exploring, taking in the city as much as i could and came across this beautiful scene. It was one of those moments you know its gonna be a keeper!Editing
Well this photo was from when i wasn't very good at editing, so it was just the basic stuff like contrast brightness, ect ectIn my camera bag

Take as many photos as you can, and try and get those angles! Take a look where everyone else is taking their photos, and go find a better spot you'll find your photos will do a lot better when they are showing off a view that not many have seen!
